Yep, that's how I first found out about LiveJournal! lol

All the time.

No, I do browse profiles, but other people usually start the conversations.

I go on there for a few minutes a few times a week.

I used to use the Ignore feature pretty sparingly, but I've found myself liking it more and more these days.
7. Do you play the games often? If so, what's your favorite?
I play every once in a while, and since BlackJak and High Low have it in for me and I have yet to figure out that damn Stones game, I usually play Who Said That, Blingo, and Anagram.
8. Do you use Graffiti and/or the Boards? If so, which are your favorites?
On Graffiti, I mainly post on the sex board, and on the boards, I've taken to staying in the topics with new posts.
9. Do you censor what you say when you talk in public QN's, on the boards, etc. and worry about judgments other people make about you?
Hell no! I speak my mind, and I don't care who thinks what about it.
10. What do you think of the randomizer?
It's hilarious! The only exception is when I get thrown into awkward randomized situations by or with people on my ignore list. lol
11. Would you want to be a CL?
I dunno... it'd be interesting and I think I'd be good at it, but I'm not sure I could be, only because being a CL requires a certain level of unbiased professionalism, and when someone on the Zone, or anywhere for that matter, pisses me off, I tell them off, and I can be a bitch about doing so. I'm not sure that would be acceptable behavior for a CL.
12. What are some of the most memorable things you have learned from being on the Zone?
Well, I love learning about the cultures of my fellow Zoners, especially about what the opportunities are like for blind people in other cultures. I've learned a bit more about technology and other websites from the Zone (I actually didn't have messengers or Skype or anything before coming on here), and I just like the social networking opportunities on here in general.
13. Do you know any Zoners in person?
Quite a few. I went to school with several people on here, and I know a couple others from here and there.
14. Do you, or have you ever, had feelings for another Zoner?
Well, I'm ...not on the market right now, but if and when I am, there are a few people that would definitely spark my interest (not all at once, lol), but I'm naming no names! Hehehe.
15. What aspect of the Zone would you like to see improved most?
There's really only one pressing thing, about which I e-mailed the admin a couple days ago, so we'll see.

I learned a lot about different cultures in different countries, and I didn't even know of Skype until I first got on here. I also learned more about technology.

I know four of them in person. We've all been best friends for a bit over a year or so.

The person who got me into The zone was my first sex partner but we never had feelings for each other. We were just good friends. Never had any feelings for anyone else here either.

I think it's too sensored and moderated. It's the internet, not school. The admins/CL's have taken the TOS to be holy law.

Not as much these days, but I almost always have publics on when I'm logged in and I talk to people I like.

No, my ignore list is nonexistent. Sixteen or so people ignoring me, though.

I only play the games when someone makes my points uneven and I have to fix them with Hi-lo. Lol.

Graffiti is pretty lame, I only post once in a great while. And I don't really have a favorite on the boards--anything that isn't the joke/game board or the accessible games one.

No. But I don't consider myself especially offensive most of the time, so I don't think it matters much.

I think I'm ignoring about 20 people, to one degree or another.

I mostly play Anagrams, in all their various forms. That's why I joined the Zone in the first place. I also play High-Low to get points, and sometimes Black Jack.

I like both the boards and grafiti, though I more commonly post on the boards.

I do try to be polite and respectful wherever I am on the site, not because I worry what others will think, but because that's how I'd want them to act toward me. If someone really pushes me, I'll get nasty though, or just ignore them altogether.

It's all right. Since I'm not on Publics that much, I don't encounter it very often.
11. Would you want to be a CL?
I'm not sure. I like people, and working with them. But then I'd have to actually deal with the drama on this site instead of ignoring it, so probably not.

Hmmm. not sure. I can think of some very cool people I've talked with, or cultures I've learned about.

Yes, a few. However, the ones I do know, I had met in person before ever coming on here. I've never met someone on here first and then met them in person.

Of course. My ex-boyfriend was a Zoner when I joined, and my current boyfriend is a Zoner as well, though again, we met in person before we even knew the other was on here.

No, I speak my mind regularly when I’m chatting to people out in public, private, or on the boards, sometimes what I say may not be very appropriate to some but I don’t like holding back what I think about certain things.

I’m not entirely sure sometimes I think it’s funny and there are times I think it’s really stupid but it really depends on my mood..
11. Would you want to be a CL?
No, the responsibility of a CL I would find very hard to handle and I’m afraid of fucking up especially if it came down to me banning someone. My anger can sometimes drive me to make rash decisions and may end in me banning perhaps the wrong person by mistake and you really need to keep your cool in those kind of situations that way you don’t do something out of line such as that. I could never be a CL knowing that I might do something like that.

Well it’s really hard to say… most of everything I learned came from the boards

Yes, but only through programs I’ve attended.

Yes, but the long distance factor has kept me from pursuing anyone in particular on here, I find them kind of relationships hard to handle since my first love was one, although I didn’t meet her through the Zone.

of those who speak their mind the most, and have made many friends i really care about. and learned that you can be verry close to someone even being far
away physically.

Yes. I usually try to be tactful (not like to the point of being politically correct), but I do think one can always express themselves in a respectful manner. If I'm not sure how I can express myself tactfully/clearly or think it would be better not to get into something, I just won't say it. Fortunately/unfortunately, I do care what others think at times. It can be good in that there are some things Idon't think are fine to share publically anyway, but I know that it also does keep me from getting involved in things that I maybe should speak up about reguardless of what others would say.

hmm...i'd really like to see the zone vt come back.

I heard about the zone from my x boyfriend.

No
3. How often do you participate in public QN conversations?
Never. I've got my publics off. I don't waste my time with vulgarity, ignorance, and ganging up on people.
4. Do you initiate PQN conversations after browsing profiles?
If possible, most certainly. I'm a conversationalist, and I'll use any reasonable, sensible, and/or appropriate topic I can to make aconversation.
5. Do you use ZBP?
Hell yeah! I really like zbp. It's a great way besides the internet to interact with our peers, and also to get to know others.
6. Do you have a long Ignore list?
No. I don't like to use the ignore feature. I try to work it out with people. If they choose to be uncooperative, then I shall use the last resort.
7. Do you play the games often? If so, what's your favorite?
My favorite game is high/low. I also play the 1st 2 anagram games, hang man, who said that, keno, blingo, and black jack if I'm desperate.
8. Do you use Grafitti and/or the Boards? If so, which are your favorites?
I do use the boards. My favorite boards are writers' block and the joke board, though I only post my own work in writers' block. Graffiti can kiss my ass!
9. Do you censor what you say when you talk in public QN's, on the boards, etc. and worry about judgments other people make about you?
No way! I don't really care what others think. If they wanna judge, that's just fine with me. I have my opinions, and they're entitled to theirs. I never sensor what I say in the boards. What's the point? If I'm talking to someone whether it be in private qn's or over the phone, and they don't like profanity, then I try my best not to use it in their hearing.
10. What do you think of the randomizer?
I turned mine off. The damn thing can kiss my ass. I haven't any reason to use it. It's not a dictionary, thesaurus, or translator, so I've no use for it here. Total geek, right? That's me!
11. Would you want to be a CL?
No, I wouldn't. I'm completely fine with the position I currently have.
12. What are some of the most memorable things you have learned from being on the Zone?
I've learned that adults can be just as childish as the little kiddies on here. Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age.
I've also learned many things about other cultures, some internet lingo, a little about technology, and that being a sesquipedalian scares some people away.

I only know 3 zoners in person.

I used to date one, but that was before I was a member.
I currently have feelings for another zoner.

I'm satisfied with how everything goes down and how it's arranged.
